Job Title: Business Manager

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our organization's operations to ensure efficiency, growth, and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, implement strategic initiatives, manage resources, and make data-driven decisions to drive the company's success.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the company's short-term and long-term business strategies.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Participate in the development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts.

Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of business activities.
Streamline processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

Manage and lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Set goals, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
Ensure effective communication and alignment of teams with company objectives.

Financial Management:

Monitor financial performance, analyze budgetary variances, and take corrective actions as needed.
Participate in financial planning, including revenue projections, expense management, and cost optimization.
Contribute to pricing strategies and revenue generation initiatives.

Business Development and Sales:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's footprint.
Nurture client relationships, manage key accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Contribute to the development of new products, services, or offerings based on market demand.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years as a business manager in an Insurance/services/tech/oil and gas e.t.c
Proven experience in business management, operations, or related roles.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
