We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Support Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

The IT Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructures, aiding us to deliver life-changing products/services to our clients.

Accountabilities

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ranging from basic to complex, in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement effective solutions.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware, software licenses, and equipment.
Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, upgrades, and system migrations.
Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting guidelines, and user manuals.
Conduct regular system maintenance to guarantee optimum performance and security.
Handle online Price updates for the organization and manage online platforms.
End User training on equipment and software usage.
ERP application configuration, installation, administration, user and group account management as well as application reports modification to suit changing business information requirement.
Compile and submit IT weekly reports and updates for the unit’s transaction date closure, end-users, network issues, offsite database backup and anti-virus updates as well as ensuring supporting documentation and records are sufficient to meet and comply with company’s policies and regulatory needs.
Perform other duties as may be required

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
2-3 years proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows etc.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear technical instructions.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality support.
Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience in managing Oodo ERP is an advantage.
