Description

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a passionate go-getter to assume the newly created Finance Manager position based in our Lagos office.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for accounting & taxation by ensuring coordination with the local accounting firm.
With the support of a local accounting firm, issue & file proper accounting tax documents (ex: invoice to customers, Tax filing to local authorities).
Ensure accurate Revenue Recognition (according to PoC methodology).
Anticipate and prepare for external audits.
Manage entity treasury aspects with local banks and Anglophone Africa Treasury.
Check actual and Forecasted Cash Flow and anticipate needs.
Ensure compliance.
Implement internal controls.
Division margin monitoring, forecast and analysis.
SFC forecast preparation and monitoring.
Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly closing.
Review and validate monthly closing activities.

Qualifications
About You:

BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
Proven track record in contributing to operational efficiency and performance in an international contex.
Recognized accountancy qualification e.g., ACCA.
In-depth understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, cash flow management, and reconciliations.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Solid analytical and decision-making.
Experience in a Multi-cultural team environment and matrix organization is a plus.
Flexibility, capacity to listen and learn.
Ability to work collaboratively in a network and a group internationally.
Well-organized and well-structured.
Clear & synthetic communication.
Good MS Office Skills, particularly in Excel.
Experience with an ERP (SAP) is an added advantage.
