GBC Professional Services is a composite one stop professional & consulting firm providing Professional Services, Business Consulting & Financial Advisory Services to clients in various sectors of the economy. The firm is principally driven by sound professional and business principles geared towards providing value added services through highly experienced and well-trained professionals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

  • Accounting Degree or equivalent
  • 8 - 10 years post ICAN / ACCA / CPA qualification experience required
  • Minimum of Three years Senior Management Role experience
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria
  • (ICAN), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
  • Experience in the Real Estate Industry would be an added advantage
  • Not above 40 years of age
  • Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the industry
  • Working knowledge and experience of an accounting software / ERP.

Key Competencies:

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent accounting software use
  • Proficiency with income recognition and financial modelling
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • High level of Integrity and Honesty
  • Ability to deliver on the job.
  • Any other duties as instructed by the Management Director.
