Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO) is an indigenous company that ventured into Exploration and Production (E&P) business in the year 2005. SEEPCO participated in the 2005 bid round held by Department of Petroleum Resoucres (DPR) and was successful with license OML 143 (formerly OPL 280). We are a global energy group investing in downstream activities in the oil and gas industry. Operations involving refining, distribution, and marketing of petroleum products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: Senior Human Resources Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Open Contract

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract top-tier talent.
  • Develop and update HR policies in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with HR policies and regulations.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to assess employee morale.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and implementing resolution strategies.
  • Promote a healthy and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and professional development plans.
  • Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate professional development initiatives for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • 15+ years of experience in HR operations
  • Proven experience in HR management within the EPC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.

Salary
N1,000,000 - N2,000,000 monthly.
