Job Title: Captain (Pilot in Command)

Job Summary

As a Captain (Pilot in Command) for Izy Air Limited, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of operations while maintaining strict compliance with aviation regulations and company standards.
This position requires excellent leadership skills to manage flight crew activities and prioritize passenger safety and comfort.
Communicating effectively with relevant authorities and making timely decisions to ensure safe flight are important aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

Assume authority as Captain and oversee safe and efficient operations in compliance with aviation regulations and Company policies.
Lead and coordinate flight crew and cabin crew activities and promote a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Maintain clear and effective communication with air traffic control during all stages of flight.
Conduct preflight inspections to ensure aircraft safety and compliance.
Make informed decisions to ensure flight safety and passenger comfort.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or any related field.
A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Learjet-type evaluation is considered favourable.
Need to be flexible enough to work from any location (including Abuja, Lagos).
Minimum of 2500 hours as Pilot-in-Command.
Over 5000 hours of total flight experience.
Valid American Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
Competent decision-making skills in difficult situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
