Job Title: Full Stack Developer - Edtech Company

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Background

Our company is undergoing a comprehensive evaluation and enhancement of its core product/platform. We recognize the pivotal role a proficient Full Stack Developer can play in ensuring the success of this endeavor.
The selected Full Stack Developer will collaborate closely with the rest of the product development team to deliver e-learning solutions in accordance with product requirements

Role Description

As a Full Stack Developer at the Company, you will play a key role in building and enhancing our platform to deliver an exceptional learning experience to our users. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a direct impact on the future of education.
This role is based in Abuja, Nigeria,, however, applicants based in Lagos, may be considered

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the product management team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement front-end interfaces and user experiences that are intuitive, visually appealing, and accessible across devices.
Integrate third-party services and tools to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications and APIs using modern technologies.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in development, and apply them for continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java.

Salary
N500,000 monthly.
