We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Content Marketer
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The role holder will oversee the development and implementation of the Company’s digital marketing strategy, and will have the following responsibilities:
Work with the web developers and designers in the design (and redesign) of the company website, to ensure continuous functionality
Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
Work on printed material to ensure offline marketing efforts complement online efforts
Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
Develop and implement the Company’s content strategy to ensure online objectives are met, using a range of techniques including SEO, PPC, etc.
Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and social media handles.
Track, and report on, traffic flow & conversion rates; and recommend improvements to the website
Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns and budgets
Develop and manage educational sessions; coordinate webinars and online sessions as required

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
At least 2 years of experience in digital communications and social media marketing
If a Bachelor’s degree is in anyunrelated discipline, the candidate must have at least 3 yearsof experience.
At least 1 yearof experience in graphic design

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
Experience in e-commerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
General proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools particularly MS PowerPoint
Good project management skills
Understanding of various content management systems, as well as the peculiarities of various social media platforms, to customize content as applicable
Ability to design, and recommend improvements to, graphics
Strong video editing skills
