We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • A video Editor is a professional, who is skilled at editing, and crafting compelling narratives by expertly assembling and refining footage.
  • He / She will collaborate with creative teams, including directors and producers, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality videos that exceed project expectations.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, exceptional storytelling abilities, and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble footage to create cohesive and engaging videos.
  • Work with directors and producers to understand project vision and goals.
  • Select and sequence footage to create a narrative or visual flow.
  • Add music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the video.
  • Color correction and grading to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the project meets deadlines and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience in a related field.
  • 3 -5 years work experience.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong storytelling and visual skills.
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
