Job Title: Technical Crew

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated personnel to join our Technical Crew.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction and technical expertise in various aspects of the building process.
The Technical crew personnel will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects by contributing their technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the construction team to execute various tasks according to project specifications and deadlines.
Assist in the preparation of construction sites by ensuring all necessary equipment, materials, and tools are available and in working order.
Perform technical tasks such as layout, framing, concrete work, and finishing work under the supervision of the project supervisor/manager or Technical officer.
Operate construction machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to carry out tasks accurately.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the construction site to ensure efficiency and safety.
Assist in troubleshooting technical problems and implementing solutions to keep construction projects on track.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in construction is preferred.
Trade Test Certification in Carpentry, Masonry, or other allied construction trade.
2-3 years of experience working in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.

Requirements:

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical stamina and endurance to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
