SIMS Nigeria Limited specializes in the assembly, distribution and sales of consumer electronics from major brands such as - Samsung, Panasonic, Royal, Skyworth, Electrolux, Bosch, Philips and Powermatic. Our business started out in 1987 and since then we have grown to be a market leader in the home appliances & consumer electronics market in Nigeria. We operate a number of branches that cut across most of Nigeria’s geopolitical zones in major cities such as Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Onitsha, Enugu, Uyo and Kano.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Executive

Job Description

As an HR Executive, you will be instrumental in managing our human resources operations, with a strong focus on performance management.
You will work closely with team leaders and employees to develop and implement effective performance management strategies that align with our company's goals and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement performance management systems and processes.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
Collaborate with department heads to set performance goals and objectives.
Conduct performance reviews and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Design and deliver training programs to support employee development and performance enhancement.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Manage employee relations and handle performance-related issues effectively.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to HR.
Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
4 - 5 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on performance management.
Deep understanding of performance management systems and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
