Composite Construction is a leading Building and Construction Company based in Lagos with interest in Real Estate (residential, commercial, or industrial).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Web Content Officer

Ref: WCO
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and manage content for the company’s website, blog, and social media platforms.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content strategies and editorial calendars.
  • Conduct research to gather relevant information and ensure content accuracy.
  • Optimize content for SEO to increase visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to refine content strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and SEO.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure high quality and error-free copy.
  • Coordinate with designers and developers to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing presentation of content.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and email campaigns.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years experience as a Content Writer, Web Content Manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor performance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
