Simeon's Pivot Resources - A Human Resource and Management Consulting Company with a focus on Performance Management is mandated by one of the leading sole importer and distributor of ideal diet for all dogs and dog accessories in Nigeria to recruit a competent and experienced individual who has experience in warehouse and logistic operation and can oversee the process from placing orders to clearing at the warehouse including warehouse management and product distribution to customers for the company.

Hence, we are recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Warehouse - Logistic Manager

Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description
It includes but is not limited to the following:

To manage the re-order levels and processing orders.
To direct, manage and coordinate the warehouse/logistics.
Ensure proper management of goods in the warehouse.
Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
Ensure good working condition of all warehouse machinery and equipment
Ensure Discipline and adherence to Good House Keeping Practices in the Operations of the Warehouse.
Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
Evaluate and manage warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
Plan the layout and set up of the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies.
Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.
Manage customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production and quality.
Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Maintain reports, process documentation and customer service logs.
Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

Qualification and Experience

HND/B.SC in Transportation/Logistics, Warehouse Management or a related field
Master’s qualification will also be an added advantage
Must possess relevant professional qualifications/affiliations.
Experienced in Supply chain Management IS A Must
At least 4-7 years management experience in supply Chain, warehousing and logistic

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of warehousing processes and procedures
Knowledge in logistic operation

Ability to present information to groups at all levels within the business
Experienced in performance management
Excellent communication

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff

Remuneration
N200,000 - N250,000
