Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc was incorporated in September 1960 as a private limited liability company, and commenced operations in 1962 with an installed capacity of 600 metric tons per day. The Company was converted to a public limited liability company in 1978, and its shares were subsequently listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Position: Electrician

The Job

  • Maintain proper record and comprehensive report of breakdown, spare part used, disconnected motors and time taken for job completion.
  • Check the current valve of drives and ensure it is within the rated limits
  • Carry out effective planned preventive maintenance with reference to maintenance job orders.
  • Repair any fault or damage in the machine –production, packaging, warehouse, raw material silo, boilers, chillers, and to reduce downtime

Qualification/ Experience

  • WAEC/Technical Certificate
  • Minimum of  2 year relevant experience

Position: Fitter

The Job

  • Repair any fault or damage in the machine – production, packaging, warehouse, raw material silo, boilers, chillers, to minimize downtime
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance with reference to job orders
  • Maintain proper record of time taken for job completion

Qualification/ Experience

  • WAEC/Technical Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience


Position: Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical)

The Job

  • Carry out planned preventive measures within the scheduled time.
  • Check to ascertain the quality of job done and prepare report on work done for future reference purpose.
  • Allocate jobs to maintenance team to ensure quick response to maintenance request from user department
  • Carryout on the job supervision on subordinates and proper solutions in area needed by subordinate

Qualification/ Experience

  • OND in Engineering related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Position: Electrical Supervisor

The Job

  • Monitor logbook to check job repairs done as well as pending jobs, to follow up and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Allocate jobs to maintenance team to ensure quick response to maintenance request from user department
  • Carry out planned preventive measures within the scheduled time.
  • Prepare report on work done for reference purpose
  • Ensure availability of the right tools for maintenance/Auditing of workshop tools and others

Qualification/ Experience

  • OND in Engineering Engineering related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
