POSITION : Marine Technical Manager (Expat)
Job Description
- Participate in the detailed development and review of the projects, support and coordinate / timely delivery, review and inspection of the existing related equipment in advance of mobilization.
- Participate on the planning of marine operations. Project technical support in relation to Marine Installation operations.
- Attendance at vessel mobilisations and subsequent infield operations as directed, assume the lead on project tasks and activities as delegated by the management.
- Ensure all interfaces and 3rd parties associated with the projects activities (both internal and external) are managed as required to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist in the management and preparation of the activities required by the management delivering the projects.
- Preparation of and input to the management team weekly and monthly reports
- Provide and demonstrate leadership
Job Requirements
- Technical degree or similar
- Relevant experience with the Oil & Gas industry
- Relevant Maritime qualification and experience in marine technical operations
- Experience of project delivery management
- Current Offshore Training and Medicals
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, and effective team player and demonstrate the required flexibility that the role will require.
- Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must have a sound technical background and be willing to engage in areas out with the direct technical experiences.
- Must have good organizational skills
