POSITION : Logistics Officer 

DESCRIPTION

Ensure all aspects of the logistics team, such as shipping, warehousing and procurement are working together to fill order and deliver materials on a timely basis.

 Responsibilities

  • Input inventory information in stock records/documentation e.g Excel spreadsheets, Goods Received Notes etc
  • Participate in periodic stock counts and extensive stock taking exercises in line with provisions of the corporate delivery management policies & procedures.
  • Supervise transfer of products from warehouse/store to showroom for pick up by clients
  • Maintain the goods return process, including all necessary documentation
  • Monitor the handling (offloading, unpacking/packaging and stacking) and transportation of items of stock in and out of IL BAGNO warehouses
  • Carry out physical checks of received products, confirming correctness with details of the original purchase order and other (shipping) documentation as well as the absence of damaged goods.

  • B.Sc in related discipline with a minimum of a second class lower (2,2)
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Documents & Records Management skill
  • Inventory/Logistics management skill
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and numerate software

Salary
2,000,000 - 3,000,000 P/A.
