Telinno Consulting Limited (TCL) is recruiting to fill the position below:

POSITION : Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • The Business Development Manager will have the responsibility to create and design a startup business portfolio, create new business relationships to amplify and accelerate our overall strategy and growth in Nigeria.
  • Pursue, evaluate, negotiate and ensure conversion of top business development opportunities in the country while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product development, operations, legal, etc.)
  • Review deal metrics and communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and give business reviews to our senior management team regarding progress in the business development space on a regular basis
  • Define and lead all of the business development activities with potential to generate extraordinary impact across the organization and ecosystem.
  • Identify and build relationships with potential deal partners, clients.
  • Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of our company

Requirements

  •  8 years experience oriented to business development in the tech industry, management consulting, banking, oil & gas or telecommunications experience in Nigeria - but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
  • Ability to combine business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
  • Ability to establish, maintain and leverage effective and fruitful relationships at partner & client companies
  • Ability to understand and work together with operational teams; lead through influence, even in contexts of limited authority
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
  • Fluent English is a must (spoken & written)

  • MBA from top university highly desired
  • Experience with corporate development activities
  • A wealth of high-impact relationships with business leaders across Nigeria’s leading companies (Banking, Oil & Gas, Telecoms sectors)
