Job Description
Logistics Officer is responsible for co-ordinating the storage, transportation and delivery of goods.His key task is to organise the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods, and to ensure that orders are satisfied correctly.
JOB DUTIES
• Responsible for co-ordinating the storage, transportation and delivery of goods.
• Operating IT systems
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts
• Coordinating drivers, vehicles, loads and journeys
• Planning for and negotiating technical difficulties
• Developing and confirming schedules
• Liaising with staff.
QUALIFICATION
• Should possess a first degree in Logistics Management or any other relevant field.
• Should possess a minimum of 1 year working experience
