Lorache Group - Our client, a Furnishing Company also into Corporate & Home Interior design and works, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Marketing/Business Development Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- An active and vibrant individual with good communication skill, exceptional unique attributes and sales acumen.
- Business Development Manager will major in delivering outstanding service to clients and marketing of the company's products to achieve set target,
- He/she will report to the Managing Partners and will focus primarily on both corporate and retail sales development.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets
- Effectively manage the client database
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activities
- Assist in promoting and implementing social media strategy for marketing products
- Provide market intelligence reports on competitor's activities
- Manage budget and monitor spend against planned objectives
- Establish, maintain and follow up on current client and potential client relationships
- Experience in effective advertising and creative communication development, evaluation and execution
- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
- Develop new accounts and ensure sales are met
- Have the ownership & input into customizing global campaigns and initiatives to relevant markets with the objective of driving consumer excitement and motivating purchase
- Identity and resolve client complaints and enquires promptly
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including sales activity, follow up and adherence to goals
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special development, information or feedback gathered through field activity to the Unit Head
- Aggressive sales of all products and services
- Leads Brand development and execution of annual marketing activation plans that drives achievement of business objectives
- Participate in marketing events such as trade fair and sales exhibition
- Ensuring payment and debt recovery
- Assist in strategizing, developing and distributing all promotional marketing materials,
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
- Prepare presentation and proposals.
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs.
Requirements
- B.Sc/HND from a recognized tertiary institution
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the sales and marketing in a corporate or Fmcg company
- Experience in furniture making companies will be an added advantage but not compulsory.
- Excellent oratory presentation, and report writing skills
- Negotiation, communication skills is essential
- Qualification: Relevant Company Experience Preferred, Graduate / Post Graduate.
