Job Description

The company is seeking an experienced PPIC Officer, based in Abeokuta, Nigeria to join the company in this exciting phase of its growth to build the first of its kind fruit processing company in Nigeria.

Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) Officer who will be responsible for the evaluation of the production, sales, inventory conditions and raw material costs.

Responsibilities

Make a production plan-based Sales Marketing plan
Material procurement plans based on plans and stock conditions by calculating the production material requirements according to the ideal standard stock (there are the minimum and maximum limits that must be available)
Monitor all inventory for the production process, stock in the warehouse, or imported so that the implementation of the market entry process continues to run smoothly and in balance.
Making evaluations of the production, sales, and inventory conditions.
Processing and analyzing data about the plan and realization of production and sales and inventory data.
Liaises with suppliers, factories, human resources department, and maintenance employees to ensure all workers, materials, and machinery will be available when required.
Organizes and maintain records, including purchase orders
Monitors production and raw material costs
Collects and assesses data about the production and team's performance
Prepares reports about production processes for Management and suggests ways to improve efficiency

Requirements and skills

Bachelor's Degree with a work experience of at least 3 years of related experience or equivalent experience in Production Planning or Business Analysis
Preferred backgrounds: Production Planning, Business Analysis, Project Management, in Food manufacturing industry
Computer Literate; Microsoft Excel experience required
Experience with inventory management software such as SAP and Discoverer preferred
Good Oral and written communication skills
Good understanding of manufacturing and business operations
Knowledge of Supply Chain and Distribution Management
Attention to detail
Ability to Meet Deadlines.
