We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Perform all maintenance functions related with electrical systems, and power generation distribution in line with safety operations and maintenance principles to guarantee the smooth functioning of the production facility.
- Ensure all electrically powered equipment and machineries are adequately powered, functioning and in good condition.
- Responsible for setting up power supply; conduit and wiring for currently installed equipment and machines, including programmable controllers, while adhering to blueprints, electrical ethics, utilizing voltage tester and hand tools.
- Repair damaged equipment and machines.
- Carry out the repairs, installations and upkeep of various machinery, systems, buildings, offices and other facilities.
- Follow maintenance procedures, carry out various maintenance activities, carry out inspection on all assets to find problems and make the necessary repairs.
- Constantly develop new innovative to improve productivity and equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair any piece of machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for employees to use.
- Ensure operational efficiency of electrical and mechanical equipment through timely inspection and repair.
- Generate spare parts needed, advise on parts ordering.
- Execute the scheduling and assigning work orders and proactive maintenance tasks Performing inspections and oversight of maintenance work to ensure quality.
- Record the performance and operation of the assets using existing checklist
- Ensuring that all maintenance works and activities are in line with industry regulations and OSHA standards Constantly develop new innovative to improve productivity and equipment reliability.
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance duties and generate work notifications to address any issues detected.
- Ensures faults are reported promptly and repairs are carried out.
Job Requirements
- B.Eng./HND in Electrical Electronics Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering equivalent.
- Knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical principles with minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance work.
- Understanding of Quality Engineering standards and health & safety regulations
Salary Range
N50,000 - N100,000 / Month
